Wow, that is a chunk. Such a fascinating person, in the sense that he does so well in spite of (or maybe because of) making such unconventional choices.

I think he does it because of his unconventional choices. Johnny seems to choose movies based totally on his own interest in the project, not because of the money he’s offered, or because he thinks it might further his career. It’s rare to see someone like that these days!
